On Friday Kanye West released his latest album ‘ye’, and on a track called ‘Wouldn’t Leave’, detailed Kim Kardashian’s reaction to his absurd comments about slavery.

The song goes:

I said “Slavery a choice”, they said “How, Ye?” Just imagine if they caught me on a wild day. Now I’m on fifty blogs, getting fifty calls, my wife’s callin’, screamin’, saying we ’bout to lose it all. Had to calm her down ’cause she couldn’t breathe. Told her she could leave me now, but she wouldn’t leave.

As we learned yesterday, Kim Kardashian took home the inaugural Influencer Award at the CFDA Awards, where host Issa Rae made reference to Kanye’s comments and how ridiculous they were. Kim spoke to Entertainment Tonight while on the red carpet at this event and said that Kanye’s account of her reaction was true.

Did I cry about it? Did we fight about it? Yeah. That’s not the stuff we put on social media. I’m not going to start tweeting what my thoughts are, but we have those moments and that was the one song that he didn’t really play for me until the last minute and it meant a lot to me.

Kim added that although Kanye is often misinterpreted, she believes he has a good heart. (Vulture)

Donald Glover is a hot candidate to play Willy Wonka in a reboot of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. 

Yes, this film was only remade a while ago. No, we definitely do not need another version of it. But if Donald Glover is going to star as Willy Wonka… Work away. Give us a trilogy.

Warner Bros have hired the director of Paddington 2, Paul King, to work on the projected alongside Harry Potter producer David Heyman and writer Simon Rich. Donald Glover isn’t the only person who has been considered for this role, but he definitely seems like the most suitable of the three.

The other two potential Willy Wonkas are Ryan Gosling (can’t see this happening at all – imagine.) and Ezra Miller (can kinda see it happening, but not very naturally). (NME)

Mindy Kaling revealed the members of her groupchat and we can’t help but feel a little envious.

That said, how would you ever work up the nerve to send a message to a Whatsapp group that included Mindy, Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, Nora Lum, Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock and Anne Hathaway. What if they left you on seen? Too much pressure.

During her most recent appearance on The Ellen Show, Mindy Kaling and Ellen sent a selfie to the group to see who would reply first. Immediately after, Mindy’s phone was hopping and most of the gang had replied. Mindy then went on to talk about how intimidated she is by Rihanna.
